The short loop: advance and farm
Normal enemies provide gold and can drop equipment. Bosses test whether the current damage is sufficient and award blank scrolls when defeated. Progression mode searches for the next wall; farming mode holds a profitable zone while resources accumulate.
When progress slows, the immediate choices are hero levels, passive skills, equipment, blessings, talents and active-skill timing. A reset should not be the automatic response to every failed boss. First check whether an inexpensive upgrade can complete the encounter.
Offline rewards preserve useful progress
While the game is closed, eligible progress is calculated from real elapsed time and summarized on return. The reward window separates gold, blank scrolls, combo progress, recovered items and diamonds generated from items that could not be kept.
The standard chest has a time capacity. The permanent Idle Reward purchase extends that capacity to twenty-four hours and improves specified offline rewards. The mobile notification can announce when the chest reaches its current limit, and it can be disabled both in the game settings and in the phone's system settings.
Divine Awakening converts a run into permanent scrolls
Divine Awakening turns pending blank scrolls into enchanted scrolls. The confirmation preview lists what will be reset, retained and gained. Enchanted scrolls survive the awakening and support permanent blessings and other long-term systems.
An early awakening may be worthwhile as soon as it unlocks a strong permanent multiplier. Later, compare the projected gain with the time required to rebuild. If the reward barely changes the next run, continue farming or push another boss; if several meaningful upgrades become affordable, resetting can be faster than forcing the current wall.
Apotheosis is the deeper reset
Apotheosis sacrifices accumulated permanent scroll progress to generate Anima. Anima buys rune levels that change future runs: boss-scroll income, blessing cost, click strength, starting zone and gold, item rarity, or paired blessing effects.
The preview is the decision tool. It shows the projected Anima before the player commits. A sensible target is a reward large enough to purchase several planned rune upgrades, so the following run feels materially different rather than merely displaying a slightly larger number.
What survives depends on the reset
Never rely on memory for a major reset. Read the current confirmation window because different progression layers preserve different resources and entitlements. Permanent purchases and account entitlements are not the same as temporary run resources. Cloud synchronization protects the selected save but does not reverse an intentionally confirmed reset.
A repeatable reset checklist
- Try the nearest affordable upgrade and one well-timed boss attempt.
- Open the reset preview and record the exact permanent reward.
- Identify the blessing or rune levels that reward can purchase.
- Compare the expected benefit with the rebuild time.
- Confirm the reset, spend the permanent currency and verify the affected values.
Protect the run before testing
A connected account enables cloud synchronization and save history. When two devices contain genuinely different progress, compare their summaries before choosing which save becomes authoritative. Do not clear browser storage while investigating a missing save.
